Notifying relatives
The taxpayer's heirs must communicate their personal details and tax domicile to the tax office of the deceased's tax domicile. The communication may be presented directly to the office or sent by registered letter with receipt of receipt, in which case it is deemed to have been made with the dispatch.
All deadlines pending on the date of the taxpayer's death or expiring within four months
of it, including the deadline for filing the declaration and the deadline for appealing against the assessment, are extended by six months in favor of the heirs. The persons appointed by the heirs, pursuant to paragraph 2 of Article 12, must transmit the declaration electronically by January of the year following the year in which the extended deadline expired.
